Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Basic Training

CERT or Community Emergency Response Team is  a national volunteer organization within the Citizens Corps under FEMA. CERTs, now in all 50 states, are specially trained volunteers, who step up to assist public safety officials to help their community in the time of a large scale emergency. The basic training in Marin County is 15 hours and includes small fire suppression, light search & rescue, basic disaster first aid  and how to work together as a team to help police & fire personnel. Cost is only $30.00.
