Man Sexually Assaulted at Gunpoint in Tam Valley

Police are searching for a large build black male suspected of sexually assaulting a man at gunpoint in Tam Valley Thursday night.

The victim told investigators that a black man ordered him to drive from a parking lot of the Marin Community College area at about 8 p.m. to a neighborhood in southern Marin, Tam Valley, where he reportedly sexually assaulted him at gunpoint.

The Marin County Sheriff's Department reports the victim was able to run away and call for help. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as being about 6-foot-2 and heavy set, weighing about 220- 235 pounds.

The Sheriff’s Department and Marin Community College District Police Department are continuing to investigate all leads.
