Lytton Square
Throckmorton Ave. and Miller Ave. and Corte Madera Ave., Mill Valley, CA 94941
Lytton Square is small strip of land located near the corner of Throckmorton and Miller avenues, right across from MillMore Valley's Chamber of Commerce office. Only about 100 feet long and maybe 20 feet wide, this park has several towering redwood trees, big boulders and cement structures beneath them for sitting. This park was named after Lytton Barber, Mill Valley's first WWI casualty, who died at age 18 of spiral meningitis at Ft. Lewis before deploying for battle in 1917.
