The Hillside campus of Marin Day Schools evolved from its first preschool that opened in 1981 at the Tiburon Baptist Church. After 21 years at that site, the campus moved to the Edna Maguire elementary school grounds. The Hillside campus has four classrooms and outdoor playgrounds.

Marin Day Schools uses the "World at Their Fingertips" developmental, anti-bias and multicultural curriculum, which is child centered, hands-on, experiential, project-based and fun.
