I don't "do" sports; for me it is just another entertainment/big business (like rap andRead More hiphop music) scam, so I love to go shopping and otherwise enoy places that would be crowded on a normal Sunday. I'm glad it won't be local, and hope (dare I say it) the local team don't make it. Nothing super about a football game to me! :-) Nothing "world" about the world series either. If you like it, fine, have a good time, I won't be in the crowd!

Wow! We attend regularly and I always told my kids to stay alert at this turn. This is where theyRead More have the most speed coming down from 5th Ave (by Mission San Rafael) turning at Starbucks onto 4th. This one looked like it must have stung a bit. Wow. This is a fantastic event if you have never attended before. Especially the night races.

Thanks for posting this story Cate, but the game the Red Sox won last night was against the NovatoRead More A's with a score of 2-1. The game you are referencing was the Mill Valley championship game against the Cubs last weekend. Cheers, S-

Marin bikes are as expensive as cars in the East Bay, and lock cutters sounds like a gang of pros.Read More If you follow the news, Berkeley crime is more strong-arm theft of phones. Interesting cultural variations of the bay... I live in Novao and work in MV and Berk, so I enjoy comparing.

My take on things Can't the people around the area in front of Whole Foods see the locks getting cutRead More off..and notify someone? Maybe Whole Foods (for one) could construct a sort of enclosed bike area (analogous to the dog area) to make it harder for the thieves to get in and out. Maybe there should be lock alarms for bikes that screech loudly when they're set off. As for people who leave attractive items in their cars (and get the windows smashed), that's too bad but plain stupid. As for "party complaints" -- if it's only one night, not all the time, let your neighbors and the teenagers have a little enjoyment !

I love Terri, or Catherine or whoever she is this week. She simply serves to show the raging lunacyRead More of the fringe anti biker crowd. Some would say don't feed the troll. I say keep feeding her more rope to hang herself with. Thanks MG for revealing her identity. This thread and others will do well to document her violent attitude when she finally snaps and pulls a Vandeman on some little bmx kid.
