<p>The Worldwide Forgiveness Alliance is a nonprofit organization started by Mill Valley attorney Robert Plath; his mission is to evoke the spiritual healing of forgiveness worldwide. One of its goals is to establish an International Forgiveness Day that is recognized throughout the world by 2025.</p> <p>Recent International Forgiveness Days have honored Rep. John Lewis, D-Ga., and Christopher Rodriguez, a 12-year-old boy who forgave a man who hit him with a stray bullet as he was taking a piano lesson in Oakland in 2008.</p>
