Tamalpais Community Services District

<p>The Tamalpais Community Services District provides municipal services to nearly 2,600 households in the 508-acre Tamalpais Valley. Those services include sewage management, refuse collection and recycling, management of community parks and putting on a wide variety of recreation and community events and classes. The district also manages programs and rentals at nearby Tamalpais Valley Community Center on Marin Avenue.</p> <p>General Manager Jon Elam oversees district operations, and the agency is governed by a five-member board of directors, which meets on the second Wednesday of each month at Tam Valley Community Center. The board includes Steffen Bartschat, President; Jim Jacobs, Vice President; Linda Johnson, Board Member; Gretchen Stagg, Board Member and Jeff Brown, Board member.</p>
