Look Ahead for Next Week in Mill Valley: Smoke Testing, Road and Lane Closures

SMOKE TESTING: 
Please be aware that smoke testing of the sewer lines is being conducted this week at various locations. 

For Tuesday, November 12 through Friday, November 15, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., testing will be done on E Blithedale, Laurelwood; Parkwood, Forrest, Presidio, Hill, Grove, Millwood, Dell, Mountain View, Hill, Sunnyside Ave, Hillside, Bolsa and Oakdale. The smoke is non-toxic. If you notice smoke entering your house, open windows for ventilation and tell the crew chief doing the testing in your area. Contact the Department of Public Works, 388-4033, if you have questions or concerns. 

CAMINO ALTO GRADE - TRAFFIC DELAYS THROUGH NOVEMBER 15, 2013:
From 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., expect traffic delays on the Camino Alto Grade, from Chapman to Tamalpais, as the Town of Corte Madera makes road improvements. If you have questions, please call the Town of Corte Madera Department of Public Works at 927-5057. 

ROAD CLOSURES:

Rose Avenue - Tuesday, November 12 through Tuesday, November 19, 2013:
24-hours/7 days a week, Rose Avenue will be closed between #337 and #375 to allow contractors for the city to construct a wall for roadway stabilization. 

Sunrise Avenue - Tuesday, November 12, 2013:
From 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunrise Avenue will be closed for sewer work.

Sidney Street - Tuesday, November 12, 2013: 
From 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sidney Street will be closed between Elm Avenue and Alvarado Avenue for sewer lateral hook-ups. 

71 Tamalpais Avenue - Thursday, November 14, 2013:
From 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the road will be closed at 71 Tamalpais as MMWD upgrades the water service.

LANE CLOSURES:

Bernard St., Lyon Ave., Manor Dr @ Buena Vista - Tuesday, November 12, 2103:
From 8:00 a.m. to Noon, the streets listed above will have lane closures while contractors for the City video and flush the sewer lines.

Alta Vista, E. Manor Dr., Elm  Ave. - Tuesday, November 12, 2013:
From Noon to 5:00 p.m., the streets listed above will have lane closures while contractors for the City video and flush the sewer lines.

From Noon to 5:00 p.m., expect a lane shift as contractors for the City video and flush the sewer lines.
