What if an earthquake occurred in the Bay Area; or a prolonged storm, resulting in a longterm power outage. Would you know how to contact your family members if you weren't together ? Where would you meet? Do you have food & water supplies, a first aid kit, & extra set of clothes, if you needed to shelter at home for 5-7 days? If you had to evacuate your neighborhood due to an approaching fire, would you know what to take with you?
Learn the basics of emergency preparedness in this 1 1/2 hour free class at the Mill Valley Community Center on Tuesday evening, Jan. 21st 7-8:30 pm.
