'Stars' Comes Out for Oscars Party

Harbor Point Charitable Foundation's benefit for Kiddo at 142 Throckmorton Theatre celebrates this year's Academy Award winners.

On a night when it , the acclaimed film The Artist also - this time in the form of Ray Kaliski Jr. and his wife Carla Daro. The couple walked the red carpet in costume as the film's protagonists George Valentin and Peppy Miller at their  benefit for  at the .

They were joined by Bob Kaliski in Moneyball garb, Marilyn Monroe impersonator Karen Motherway and several others in Oscars-themed costume.

The Kaliskis are the founders of the foundation, the 7-year-old charitable wing of the Kaliski family’s , which recently celebrated the opening of its new fitness center in Strawberry. The  benefited , the Mill Valley private educational group that pays for arts programs and an ever-increasing portion of the .
