Mill Valley Real Estate Update: Last week of October


It’s hard to believe we’ve moved on from October and are heading towards Thanksgiving! As for our real estate market, it’s been moving pretty well. The last week of October ended on a strong note, giving the month a solid mark for real estate activity. Properties listed and sold for over one million definitely took center stage last week. September’s market was consistent, but activity in October continued to push upwards, including our condo market. Both Days on Market and original list price percent to sale price have been treading the waters with a slight dip in numbers overall for properties listed and sold under one million. I expect with the holidays quickly approaching we’ll start to see more sporadic activity in general - but one thing is for certain - the continued lack of inventory is keeping buyers perched and ready to pounce on any new good opportunity.
