Tam Football Squad Celebrates Homecoming in Style, Awaits NCS Seeding

With a packed house full of alumni and current students, Red-tailed Hawks sprint to a 42-19 victory behind nearly 300 yards rushing. Win likely clinches NCS berth, though battle with San Rafael Saturday looms large.

In a season that has had its bumps along the way, couldn't have asked for much for its Saturday. In front of an overflowing crowd full of alumni at Bruce Grant Field, the Red-tailed Hawks raced to a 42-19 win over Terra Linda.

Tam was powered by the explosive running of Ren Scypion and Dana Mills, who combined for more than 200 of the team's nearly 300 rushing yards on the day. The win propelled Tam to a record of 6-3 overall and 4-2 in the Marin County Athletic League, virtually ensuring the squad of a North Coast Section (NCS) playoff berth. A battle with San Rafael on Saturday at 1:30 at home looms large, however. Seedings are announced Nov. 13.
