Mill Valley 11-Year-Old All-Stars Rally to Win Sectional Championship

The 8-7 win over Petaluma National was propelled by five RBIs from Alex Pasko.

After losing to Petaluma National on a walk-off grand slam Wednesday and facing a 6-1 deficit through five innings in Thursday's third game, the Mill Valley 11-year-old All-Star team was on its heels in the Little League All Stars 11s sectionals championship game.

But as great teams tend to do, the squad came through in the clutch, defeating Petaluma National 8-7 to win the sectional title behind five RBIs from Alex Pasko, including a three-run triple. Jake Gasman and Benjamin Grant also delivered RBI doubles.

The series between the two teams was back and forth throughout, with Mill Valley winning the first game with a walk-off grand slam, and Petaluma doing the same in Wednesday's second game.
