Come and explore Ring Mountain with your family. We’ll look for birds, insects, spiders, plants and more. We’ll also visit the site of an ancient kitchen used by Native Americans several hundred years ago. Meet at the Ring Mountain gate off Paradise Drive.
Directions: From US 101 in Marin County, exit Paradise Drive/Tamalpais Drive. Drive east on Tamalpais, and turn right onto San Clemente (before The Village shopping center). After a few blocks, San Clemente dumps into Paradise Drive. Continue on Paradise, past Westward Drive, to the preserve gate on the right side of the road. It's about 1.5 miles from 101.

All programs are led in both English and Spanish, and are free to the general public. Programs start at 10:00 am at the trail head. If you prefer to caravan to park locations, we’ll meet at 9:15 am at the Canal Alliance at 91 Larkspur Street in San Rafael. Please note: Rain cancels all Family Adventures trips!
