About Our Classes:

All our programs feature low student to teacher ratios, a goal-oriented curriculum, and a games-based approach to player development. For Kindergarten through 8th Grade players, we use the United States Tennis Association’s Quickstart method of scaling down the type of ball, racket, and size of court to fit every age child.  Scaling down makes it easier for children to develop proper technique and learn how to rally and play. During every class children learn stroke fundamentals including: forehand, backhand, serves, and the basics of rallying.

The Medals Program:

At the end of the Fall & Spring sessions children demonstrate certain stroke and playing skills, and are awarded medals to help build confidence and self-esteem.

Classes are taught by Higgins Tennis certified professionals. Over 300 children a week participate in Higgins tennis programs at local schools and facilities. Director/Owner William Higgins ran the largest junior tennis center in the world, the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego and was a top-ranked Open level player in the state and played on the ATP professional tour.
