Baseball Stars Wachtel and Rosenberg Join Lax Standouts Schulze, Savino to Nab Hawk of the Week Honors

As the spring sports season nears the finish line, Tam High is honored a quartet of stars with Hawk of the Week honors.

On the baseball diamond, seniors Jonny Wachtel and Kenny Rosenberg were the recipients, with coach Mike Terry calling Wachtel "the most feared hitter in MCAL" and highlighting Rosenberg's stellar two-game stint of giving up no earned runs and racking up 23 strikeouts in 16 innings.

Girls lacrosse coach Val Feldman chose standout senior Claire Schulze and junior Ema Savino for "their tenacity on the field, commitment to the team and dedication to the sport."
