Anyone give any thought or mention of the men and women who gave and are giving their lives for our country, the reason we set Memorial Day aside for that reason? The Memorial Day Service at the Veterans Auditorium and Avenue of The Flags honored those who have given the ultimate gift, their future so we could have ours. It's just not another day off in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Kiddo. I didn't realize that is a national holiday.

By focusing our Memorial Day on Kiddo's 30th Anniversary we have sent a message to our children that the art class in their classroom is more important than the men and women who have fought and died for our country. Shame on you Mill Valley!
