Wednesday was a special day for many students across Mill Valley, as they took part in a national effort to "walk and roll" to school.
One of the participating schools was Old Mill elementary, who met at the Depot in downtown Mill Valley before school. The route took the bicyclists from the depot across Miller/Throckmorton and down Throckmorton until they reached Old Mill St., where they then turned into the Old Mill School bike rack/playground.
