How to Congratulate Your Tam High Grad on Patch

And here's everything you need to know for Tam High's graduation ceremony this Thursday, June 13.

Tam High seniors will receive their diplomas on Thursday, and if you’d like a quick and easy way to honor your grad (or embarrass him or her by sharing a funny childhood story), Patch can help.

Just post an announcement in our Boards section by typing in the text field at the top right, uploading a photo and clicking "Post."

See the above video for a detailed how-to.

The 411:
Graduation is at 6 p.m. in the Mead Theater at the back of the campus. Seniors will receive six tickets this year, which will be handed out at the breakfast on June 13. Everyone must have a ticket to attend the ceremony, which typically lasts an hour and is followed by an optional reception at the Student Center.

Getting around:
Seating is from the top of Mead Theater, except for guests in wheelchairs and their attendants. Allow enough time to park and walk to Mead Theater from the area behind the ceramics building, or have a driver drop off guests at the top of Mead on the Homestead Avenue entrance.

Accessibility:
Those in a wheelchair and their attendants may enter from the bottom of Mead. There is space at the edge of the stage for eight guests with wheelchairs, and one attendant may sit directly behind each person in a wheelchair.

For guests that have difficulty walking, there’s a section at the top of Mead Theater that’s reserved for those with limited mobility. These guest can be dropped off at the top of Mead Theater via the Homestead Avenue entrance just past Benefield Hall. Note that there are a few steps from the road to this section.

To reserve a space in either the wheelchair or limited mobility section, please call the Assistant Principals’ Office at 380-3512.
