Fire Crews Attack Controlled Burn at Edna Maguire

Firefighters from around Marin continue training exercises at soon-to-be-demolished elementary school in first of two days of controlled fire exercises.

Dozens of firefighters from all over Marin attacked a controlled series of fires in the front office building of the campus Tuesday.

The training exercise, a continuation of a , featured wood pallets and hay being set ablaze in the building and fire crews combatting the fires. No parts of the building's structure were burned, in accordance with National Fire Protection Administration regulations.

The two-day controlled burn continues Thursday, June 28.
