Waves: Heaven and Hell

Long-term students and teachers of Gabrielle Roth's 5Rhythms moving meditation practice, Kathy Altman and Lori Saltzman co-founded The Moving Center School in 1987. Today, the Mill Valley, California school offers classes, workshops, intensives, and private movement sessions to approximately 400-600 students a week. The school has become an international destination for students wanting to immerse themselves in the healing power of mindful movement in community with others.

From October 22 - 24, Kathy Altman will lead a weekend workshop in Victoria, British Columbia titled Waves: Heaven and Hell. Kathy will teach workshop-goers the real value of the school's 5Rhythms practice - to learn how to be open, available, and perhaps even playful when you get knocked off kilter or kicked out of your comfort zone. Finding and sustaining your presence, no matter what you feel or what goes on around you, is the dance that will reverberate long after the workshop ends.
