Marin Open Garden Project

Thursday evening May 5th at 7:00 come hear Janet
Hanft, co-founder of the Marin Open Garden Project, speak about their work encouraging sustainable living by reconnecting people with the land. The Project encourages sharing of excess produce with neighbors, as well as with organizations such as the Marin Food Bank and Homeward Bound of Marin. Their program has volunteer gardeners who help others start micro-gardens in yards, a
seed exchange program, and is developing an inventory of fruit trees in the county.

This free program is open to the public at The
Outdoor Art Club on One West Blithedale in Mill Valley. For more information call 415-388-9886 or go to www.theoutdoorartclub.org.
