First Friday: Envision It - A Sustainable Future for the Bay Area

Join architect, urban designer and urban planner Peter Calthorpe for a frank discussion on the future of development and population growth in the Bay Area. A founding member of the Congress for New Urbanism, Calthorpe has been named one of 25 "innovators on the cutting edge" by Newsweek. He has dedicated his life to sustainable building and urban planning to accommodate the expanding needs and realities of our growing population.

This event is part of the Mill Valley Public Library's ongoing, after-hours "First Friday" series, which is free and open to the public, ages 15 and up. Space is limited, so registration is recommended.
