Edna Students Release Thousands of Ladybugs into Children's Garden

The annual event teaches children about the benefits of using natural predators in place of pesticides.

Students at Edna Maguire Elementary School released thousands of ladybugs into the Children's Garden last week. The annual environmental education event teaches kids how the spotted bugs can act as natural predators by consuming aphids and other pests, and can be used in place of pesticides.
