How High Will Marin Home Prices Go?

We've created a graphic that shows the median price for a detached single-family home for each year going back to 2001.

After a post-recession dip, the median price for a detached single-family home across Marin is back on the rise in 2013. Although prices aren't yet approaching where they were in the mid-2000s, they've risen every months of 2013 to date.

That led us to wonder: How high will it go? And how do the current median prices compare to the past decade or so?

Based on data from the Marin County Assessor-Recorder's office, the infogr.am above shows the median price for a detached single-family home for each year going back to 2001, as well as April 2013.

What do you think of the arc of Marin median home prices? How high will they go?
