Mill Valley City Officials Discuss Important Issues with Lawmakers in Sacramento

The following is a news release from the city of Mill Valley: 

Legislative Action Day (April 23, 2014) is organized by the League of California Cities for local government officials to address local priority issues with State representatives of the Legislature and the Administration.

Mayor Stephanie Moulton-Peters, Councilmember Jessica Jackson, and City Manager Jim McCann attended the annual gathering in Sacramento and met with Assemblymember Marc Levine regarding a number of important topics. 

These included concerns with regional housing mandates and the support for Levine's reduced densities for Marin County legislation, single-use bags, the upcoming water bond on the November ballot, potential funding for reclaimed water systems, and assistance with Caltrans highway improvements.
