City Officials and Employees Join the First Tuesday Artwalk Party

Monthly showcase of art throughout Mill Valley includes a "Mill Valley's Got Talent" show in the lobby of the Mill Valley Community Center tonight.

The June edition of the Mill Valley Art Commission's monthly kicks off tonight with a twist. In addition to exhibits all over town from a bevy of local artists, city of Mill Valley officials and employees are joining the fray, showcasing their own work in the lobby of the Mill Valley Community Center as part of the inaugural "Mill Valley's Got Talent" art show.

The show will be on display through the rest of June and consists of everything from photos, paintings, mixed media pieces and even a hand-made surfboard. City Councilman Ken Wachtel, Mill Valley Fire Chief Jeff Davidson and Art Commissioners Joeann Edmonds-Matthew, Tony Coyle, Robb Kilby and Teresa Rea are all participating.

The exhibits kicks off Tuesday, June 5 at 5 p.m. for light refreshments in the community center lobby.
