City Council Meetings Times to Change in Mill Valley

The following announcement was provided by the city of Mill Valley:

As of February 18, 2014, Mill Valley City Council meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m. instead of the past 7:30 p.m. start time. At its January 29, 2014 Annual Retreat, the Council decided that moving the meeting ahead 30 minutes will allow more City business to be conducted, but still allow the public ample time to attend after a regular work day.

Mill Valley Municipal Code Section 1.08.010 states that the regular meetings of the City Council of the City of Mill Valley shall be held on the first and third Mondays of each month, in the City Hall on Corte Madera Avenue; provided, however, that when any such Monday falls on a legal holiday, then such regular date of meeting shall be the next business day, not a holiday, following such legal holiday.

Other than the noted change of time, no other time or locational change has been approved or implemented.
