Woman Sexually Assaulted at Gunpoint in Tam Valley

Police are searching for a large build black male, after a women was sexually assaulted at gunpoint in Tam Valley last night.

The victim told investigators that a black male suspect ordered the her to drive from a parking lot of the Marin Community College area at about 8:00 p.m. to a neighborhood in Southern Marin, Tam Valley, where he reportedly sexually assaulted her at gunpoint.

Marin County Sheriffs report the victim was able to run away and call for help and was treated at a local hospital for their injuries.

The suspect is better described as black male, approximately 6’-6’2”, and heavy set- about 220- 235 pounds.

The Sheriff’s Department and Marin Community College District Police Department are continuing to investigate all leads.
