Woman Punches Another Woman in the Head, Steals Her iPhone

A resident of the Fireside apartment complex reported that her daughter was assaulted and had her new phone stolen.

A woman was assaulted and robbed of her iPhone 5 in the parking lot of the Fireside Apartments near Tam Valley late Sunday night, with a mutual friend of the assailant and the victim assuring the victim that he would help her get her phone back, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene at 115 Shoreline Hwy. at around 11:40 pm. Sunday by a Fireside resident who said her daughter was punched in the head by another woman, Sheriff's Lt. Jamie Scardina said. Following a lot of screaming between the parties, the assailant then left in a car with the mutual friend, Scardina said.

The assailant was described as a white female 18-20 years old, 5-feet, 8-inches tall with brown hair.

The suspect fled in a vehicle with a mutual friend of the two women. The friend vowed to help the victim get her phone back, Scardina said and the victim did not pursue the case with deputies.
