Three-Car Collision on Highway 101 Causing Heavy Southbound Traffic

One driver was transported to the hospital for minor injuries, and traffic is backed up on 101 southbound.

A three-car collision on Highway 101 southbound near E. Blithedale Ave. is causing heavy traffic in the area, with one driver being transported to Marin General Hospital with minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol. 

CHP Officer Eric Hohmeister said the accident involved a pesticide truck, the driver of a 1993 Nissan pickup truck who was taken to the hospital, and another vehicle, possibly a sedan.

Tow trucks are on route to the scene, and expect a slow Wednesday morning commute.
