Strawberry's Citibank Robbed — Sheriff's Office Searching for Suspect

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who allegedly robbed Citibank in Strawberry at about 9:35 a.m. Friday.

Deputies responded to the 101 Tiburon Blvd. bank when up hold-up alarm went off, and were told by employees that a man walked up to a teller and showed her a note demanding money. The teller handed over $2900 in $100 bills, and he walked out. 

He was last seen on foot, heading north out of the bank parking lot toward Redwood Frontage Road. There was no report of a vehicle at the scene. There were also no injuries or a report of a weapon, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

He’s described as a white male, possibly in his 50’s, just under 6-feet-tall with a medium to thin build. He was unshaven with a mustache, and wearing a long hooded black jacket that was unzipped with a shirt underneath, a knit cap with ear covers and braided sides, dark framed glasses, dark jeans, black boots and black gloves.
