After he was arrested at his Buena Vista Ave. apartment in San Anselmo, he was booked into Marin County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. However, his bail was raised to $1 million two days later, according to the Marin Independent Journal.

In 2011, a jury acquitted Clark of raping and restraining an 18-year-old San Rafael woman, but convicted him of misdemeanor sexual batter for touching her breasts.
