Police: Pure Thai Acupressure Robbed at Knifepoint, Employees Help Track Down Suspect

Alejandro Rafael Magana, 20, was arrested and charged with burglary, robbery, brandishing a knife, possession of stolen property, and a probation violation.

Mill Valley Police arrested a 20-year-old man who pulled out a knife at Pure Thai Acupressure & Massage, stole an iPad, and drove away Friday at 2:30 p.m., according to a press release.

Alejandro Rafael Magana was arrested and charged with burglary, robbery, brandishing a knife, possession of stolen property, and a probation violation after police tracked him down thanks to the two store employees who witnessed the robbery.

The 27-year-old male and female employees followed Magana out of the 45 Camino Alto shop, and gave police a description of both the suspect, and his get away car. Mill Valley police checked multiple agencies across southern Marin, and he was located by officers from the Tiburon Police Department. The two employees positively identified him, and the stolen iPad was recovered.
