Police Seek Help on Boyle Park Swing Set Vandalism

Officers suspect a dog owner is allowing his or her pet to chew on the swing sets for small children at the park - four have been destroyed in less than two weeks.

Mill Valley Police are asking for residents' help in their hunt for a dog apparently in great need of a chew toy.

Police said Friday that someone is allowing their dog (or dogs) to chew on the low-slung children's blue bucket seats of the swing sets at Boyle Park, destroying four of the seats in less than two weeks.

"Apparently, a dog is just chewing on the low swings for little children as if they're a chew toy," said Lt. Jacqueline Graf-Reis.
