Overturned Truck Briefly Closes Highway 101 Near Mill Valley

The highway reopened shortly after 1 p.m.

Multiple lanes of southbound U.S. Highway 101 were briefly blocked near Mill Valley Tuesday because of an overturned truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The three right lanes were blocked near the East Blithedale Avenue exit on southbound Highway 101 after the truck overturned at 11:43 a.m., CHP officials said.

Crews responded to the scene to clean up sand and dirt that spilled in the crash and was blocking the roadway.

The lanes were reopened shortly before 1:15 p.m., according to the CHP.

No one was injured in the crash, CHP officials said.
