Marin County search and rescue volunteers used a tracking dog to find a missing 85-year-old woman with Alzheimer's disease on Thursday, a sheriff's lieutenant said.

The sheriff's office was notified at 6:40 p.m. Thursday that the woman walked away from her residence in the area of Whittier Avenue in Santa Venetia and had not returned, Lt. Jamie Scardina said.
