Mill Valley Teen Badly Injured in Fight Near Kite Hill

A Mill Valley teen is intensive care at Marin General Hospital after being badly beaten up during a fight near Kite Hill early Saturday morning, according to Mill Valley Police.

Detective Sgt. Paul Wrapp said police were called to Marin General at 3 a.m. Saturday as a 19-year-old local resident was being treated after being hit in the head with a bottle, sustaining major injuries. 

Police went to the house where the party and the fight occurred – on Alta Vista Ave. at Mesa Ave. – at around 6 a.m., Wrapp said. They confirmed that the incident occurred at around midnight. Police were told that the person who may have been involved in the fight was a white male in his late teens or early 20s with brown hair, brown eyes, about 5’7” and wearing a white baseball hat, hooded sweatshirt and jeans. The person was also injured in the fight, Wrapp said.

Police hope to speak to that person, who is not yet confirmed as a suspect in a crime, Wrapp said, about what happened in the fight.
