Marin Narc Bust Yields Six Arrests

The Mill Valley Police Department was among multiple Marin County law enforcement agencies involved in the operation.

Authorities responding to complaints of drug dealing launched an operation involving multiple agencies that led to six arrests this morning, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office said.

The operation involved over 40 officers including members of the Mill Valley Police Department, the MCSO said.

The MCSO’s Problem Oriented Policing Unit led the operation, which involved the execution of five search warrants at public housing projects in Marin City at about 7:30 a.m., the MCSO said.

Deric Eure Sr., 46 of Marin City, was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine base for sale and possession of cocaine.

Stephen Ashby, 47 of Marin City, was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine, marijuana and a narcotic as well as obstructing-resisting arrest.

Kashif Ashby, 24 of Marin City, was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine base for sale, and possession of marijuana.

Tonya Rainey, 30 of Marin City, was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine and methamphetamine.

Sharolyn Stevenson, 46 of Oakland, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jonathan Gardner, a 25 year old parolee at large was located and arrested for that warrant.
