By Bay City News Service:

Sausalito police have identified the man and woman who were found dead early Sunday morning in a San Carlos Avenue home.

Police said the deceased man and woman were identified as 51-year-old Robyn Chan, of Sausalito, and Mara Truly, 42, of Sacramento.

The cause of their deaths has not been determined and autopsies are scheduled for later this week, Sausalito police Sgt. Stacie Gregory said.

The deaths are considered suspicious, police said. Officers went to the residence in the 100 block of San Carlos Avenue after receiving reports around 2:38 a.m. Sunday of shots fired, Gregory said.

Police entered the residence to check on the welfare of the occupants and found Truly and Chan deceased, Gregory said.

Their deaths have been deemed an isolated incident and are not related to recent burglaries in Sausalito, Gregory said.

"There is no outstanding public safety risk due to this incident," Gregory said.

Anyone with information about the deaths is asked to call Sausalito police at (415) 289-4170.
