Man Carjacked Outside McDonald's in Strawberry
Two men allegedly pull a gun on 66-year-old Mill Valley resident and force him to turn over his 2004 silver Mercedes coupe.
With a handgun pointed at him, a Mill Valley man turned over the keys to his Mercedes in the McDonald's parking lot in Strawberry Wednesday night, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.
Two men approached a 66-year-old man and demanded he give them his luxury car in the parking lot of the fast-food restaurant on Redwood Highway at about 10 p.m., said Sgt. Debra Barry of the Sheriff's Office. Barry did not identify the carjacking victim.
The carjackers drove south on Redwood Highway Frontage Road in the stolen 2004 silver Mercedes coupe and remain at large. The victim told sheriff's deputies that both men were in their early 20s, describing one as a light-skinned African-American or Hispanic man.
