Loud Parties, Drunk Teens and a Suspicious Soap Salesman

This week's roundup of police activities in the 94941 also includes a stolen bike, an egged car and a theft of wine and ice cream from the 7-Eleven in Tam Valley.

June 11

10:19 a.m. – A resident reported that a 2005 Honda Pilot was keyed in the 700 block of Miller Ave. sometime in the past hour. No suspect was seen.

12:35 p.m. – Police received some complaints about the amount of vehicles parked along Carmelita Ave. and Thalia St. because of a game going on at Boyle Park. Two cars were given tickets for illegal parking.

June 12

5:04 p.m. – While its owner was at the dentist on Willow St., the owner of a silver Specialized mountain bike was stolen. The bike was valued at $500.

6:19 p.m. – A resident of the 100 block of Lomita Dr. reported that his car was egged. He didn’t know who did it but agreed to contact police if he found out.

June 13

9:44 a.m. – A resident complained about cement being poured in the 600 block of Lovell Ave. and that the cement truck was partially blocking the road. The contractor said the cement pour would be done in 20 minutes.

10:31 p.m. – Police received a complaint that a group of kids was kicking thesoccer ball around and making noise at Tam High. Police learned that the small group of kids was waiting to meet others before heading to the Mill Valley Community Center. They were advised to keep the noise down.

June 14

10:39 p.m. – A resident reported a loud outdoor party with lots of screaming in the area of West Blithedale Ave. and King Street. Police went to the home and found an adult party that was not unreasonably loud and advised the residents to go inside to avoid any additional complaints.

June 15

10:29 a.m. – Police received a complaint that a resident of West Blithedale Ave. was using a pressure washer.

12:56 p.m. – A resident of the 200 block of Ralston Ave. complained about a barking dog in the area. Police were unable to hear any barking dogs in the area.

11:18 p.m. – Police were called to the pool at Shelter Bay on a report that a group of people were at the pool being very loud and that the pool closed at 10 p.m. Police determined that the people at the pool were residents of the complex and there were no signs indicating hours of use.

June 16

11:12 a.m. – Police arrested two men on suspicion of burglary in the 400 block of Lovell Ave. after receiving a report from a resident that someone was breaking into his neighbor’s car.

7:01 p.m. – A few women stole approximately $50 worth of wine and ice cream from the 7-Eleven in Tam Valley, according to a Sheriff’s Office report.

8:20 p.m. – A resident of Thalia St. reported that someone stole a teak table and chars from his garage, which was open slightly. The table and chairs had an estimated value of $1,400.

June 17

8:24 a.m. – Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home in the 200 block of Cleveland Ave. in Tam Valley on a report that someone broke into her home by cutting the screen of a bathroom window, stealing an iPhone charger but nothing else.

10:23 a.m. – A resident complained to the Sheriff’s Office that the “Open” sign at the Dipsea Café was obstructing his view.

5:58 p.m. – A resident of Heron Dr. in Strawberry complained that a solicitor on foot was selling soap products door to door and that the person seemed suspicious.

11:23 p.m. – Approximately 20 teens who appeared to be intoxicated were in the In-N-Out Burger in the Strawberry Village center. The subjects were moved along.
