Novato police arrest suspected pimp who attempted kidnapping

The Novato Police Department arrested a 24 year old man this mornign who was reported to be have assaulted, robbed and attempted to kidnap a woman on Friday.
Vincent Rondel Cleveland of San Francisco was apprehended after a physical altercation between himself and a woman near S. Novato Blvd. and Stone Dr.
When Novato police officers arrived they spoke with the female victim. She said the man had fled before the police arrived. The victim said she was punched, kicked and beaten by her "pimp" whom she also had a relationship with.
The victim said the suspect had assaulted and dragged her toward his car in an attempt to kidnap her. She told police that the suspect took her cell phone before fleeing the scene.
Later officers located the Cleveland driving on Ignacio Blvd near Alameda Del Prado and pulled the suspect over. Cleveland was arrested and booked for multiple felony charges which included robbery, assault and human trafficking.
The victim received medical treatment for the injuries she received during the altercation.
