Car Crash With Motorcycle Snarls Southbound Hwy. 101 Traffic Sunday
A motorcyclist was taken to Marin General Hospital after a collision just north of the Alexander Road exit.

A motorcyclist and a vehicle collided this evening on south U.S. Highway 101 in unincorporated Marin County, creating a long backup for motorists leaving Sausalito and Mill Valley, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash was reported at about 5:45 p.m. The motorcyclist, who had been down in the roadway just north of Alexander Road, was transported to a local hospital, CHP Officer Eric Anderson said.

It was unknown whether the other motorist was injured. Lanes were expected to be reopened around 6:30 p.m., he said.
