Sunday, Feb. 3
Juvenile problem: 9:55 a.m. Red Hill Avenue. An employee of a business asked a juvenile skate boarder to leave. The subject told the RP (reporting person) he was going to "come back and get us." On unit arrival the RP called back advising he had an angry parent on scene. Officer made contacted with all parties and the matter was abated and advice was given.
Hit-and-run: 1:14 p.m. San Anselmo Avenue and Sir Francis Drake. A driver reported at the PD, a man driving a red bicycle got off of his bike and rammed it into the his vehicle causing damage on the driver’s back bumper. The subject advised the bike owner was last seen riding toward Fairfax on SFD. The driver was contacted and advice was given.
Warrant arrest: 9:16 p.m. Oak Avenue. Resident reported a vehicle is parked on his private driveway occupied by two males, wearing 49er clothing, and they appeared to be texting. Contact was made with both subjects and officer reported the arrest of a subject for an outstanding warrant for $1,500 for revocation of probation for driving on a suspended License. He was booked at the jail.
Suspicious circumstances: 9:17 p.m. Woodland Avenue. Resident advised she left for an hour and left her front door wide open. Resident advised she arrived home and now requested the interior checked because she was scared. Units responded and checked the residence and all appeared in order.
Saturday, Feb. 2
Noisy cat: 3:41 a.m. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. RP reported their neighbor’s cats get very loud and it was becoming an issue. They did quiet down for the night.
Grand theft: 7:12 a.m. Entrata Avenue. RP reported while driving home, he observed a male subject walking with the RP’s two bicycles. The subject said a man in the carport gave him $40 to take the bicycles. RP continued home and called the PD. Officers canvassed the area, and both bicycles were recovered, photographed and released back to the victim.
Noise complaint: 9:59 p.m. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. RP reported a loud band was playing at a business. The premises were checked and contact was made with the manager. He stated the bar had a license that allowed live bands. He was advised of the complaint.
Friday, Feb. 1
Broken fence: 8:17 a.m. Sunnyhills Drive. RP reported a dispute and their fence was broken. Officers responded and contacted both parties. A subject was cited and released for providing a false name to an officer. He was abated from the area.
Stolen purse: 12:22 p.m. Sunnyhills Drive. RP reported her purse was taken from her vehicle a few days ago. Officer responded and took a report.
Animal complaint: 4:09 p.m. Veterans Place. RP reported leash law violations. Officer checked the park and determined it was the usual obedience training class that was present.
Thursday, Jan. 31
Suspicious person: 11:25 a.m. Crescent Road. RP reported a homeless subject was sleeping in a sleeping bag near a building. Officers contacted the subject and warned him regarding the ordinance. He was abated from the area.
Stalled vehicle: 12:30 p.m. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. and San Francisco Blvd. RP reported her vehicle stalled and was blocking traffic. Officer responded to assist with traffic control until the tow truck arrived and towed the vehicle.
Vehicle vs. Cyclist: 4:09 p.m. Pine Street and San Anselmo Avenue. Anonymous reported a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist. Officers responded and took a report. The cyclist was medically checked by the fire department and declined transport to a hospital.
Petty theft: 4:22 p.m. Tamal Avenue. RP reported several items were taken from her porch last month. Officer contacted the RP and was provided advice.
Disturbing the peace: 10:44 p.m. Sir Francis Drake Blvd. RP reported a male subject was following a woman and child, and was yelling at the woman. Officers responded and contacted all parties. It was determined it was a verbal dispute only and the matter was abated.
Wednesday, Jan. 30
Residential burglary: 6:59 a.m. Sir Francis Drake Bl. RP reported a bicycle and tools were taken from their garage. Officer responded and took a report.
Petty theft: 8:59 a.m. Humboldt Avenue. RP reported a bicycle theft. Officer contacted the RP and provided advice.
Shoplifting: 2:58 p.m. Center Blvd. RP reported a subject was in custody for shoplifting. Officer contacted a subject, who was cited and released at the scene for shoplifting.
Possible theft: 5:27 p.m. San Anselmo Avenue. RP reported a possible theft. Officer contacted the RP and provided advice. She would do some follow-up and would contact the officer if further assistance was needed.
Possible theft: 6:27 p.m. Sunview Avenue. RP reported a possible theft. RP's long time housecleaners were there earlier, but she didn't suspect them. They advised her that they found a sliding glass door open. Officer contacted the RP. RP believed the items were misplaced and would continue to look for them.
Tuesday, Jan. 29
Assault: 3:19 p.m. Mariposa Avenue. Caller advised a patient with dementia, reported a staff member hit her. Officer contacted all involved parties and determined there was no merit to the complaint.
Panhandlers: 4:37 p.m. Red Hill Shopping Center, Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Officer contacted two subjects were panhandling and they were moved along.
Vehicle collision: 6:18 p.m. Sir Francis Drake Blvd and Butterfield. Caller advised she witnessed a vehicle accident on SFD before Butterfield. RP advised it was a two vehicle accident between silver Toyota Pruis and an unknown black vehicle. Unit checked the area and the vehicles were gone on arrival.
