arrested a Bolinas man early Sunday morning on suspicion of rape and a host of related charges after a woman reported that she was the victim of a sexual assault in Mill Valley Friday night.
Jacob Glavis, 38, was arrested at his home at 12:35 a.m. by Mill Valley Detective David Kollerer and Marin County Sheriff’s deputies, according to Sgt. Paul Wrapp. The suspect and the victim knew one another and had a “friendship-type of relationship,” according to Lt. Ken Dunkel.
Glavis was charged with six felonies, including rape by force, sexual battery, oral copulation, false imprisonment, penetration with a foreign object and assault to commit rape.
He is out of custody on $100,000 bail and is scheduled for arraignment on Sept. 6 in Marin County Superior Court.
