When we created a Best Pet Halloween Costume in Marin Contest, we knew Marin residents would represent. They did just that, uploading photos of all manner of four-legged pals in their Halloween duds.
Marin's love for pets of all shapes and sizes, as evidenced by the response to Patch's Cutest Dog Contest, got into the Halloween spirit over the past week.
We chose the 10 best (OK, 11 - there were too many good ones!) from the entries, and boy did we have plenty to choose from. There was Honey Boo Boo and R2D2, a pair of NASA Endeavor passengers and even a pair of pirates. And not surprisingly in Marin, the pet community was represented by a pig, a cat and a mouse.
