GreenPlay Summer Camp allows your child to spend a magical summer in nature with programs developed specifically for children in grades K-2 and grades 2-5.  Save $50/week when you enroll before April 1st!

A day at GreenPlay Sustainable Summer Camp includes everything from hiking, natural history instruction, games and fun team-building activities, nature art, storytelling and free time to use one’s imagination and play in the woods.  From June 23 to August 22nd, GreenPlay offers a weekly session with a new and unique theme designed just for children entering Kindergarten through 2nd grade and also children entering 2nd through 5th grade.

For children in Grades 2-5, our Earth Adventurers program provides unique and exciting explorations around Marin.  We depart Mill Valley Middle School in vans and head out on safari to learn about the signature creatures living in Marin’s wilderness during our Creature Feature week.  During our Farm Fun week, we unlock the secrets of Green Gulch Farm and spend afternoons playing on the newly improved Muir Beach.  During our By the Sea week, we kayak, stand up paddleboard, boogie board and tidepool the most exciting beaches in Marin County.  Our Angel Island Explorer week will see us venturing to the island’s nooks and crannies by scooter, and our Monkey Business week is full of harnessed tree and rock-climbing adventurers led by licensed arborists and professional climbers.  Our Nature’s Copycats week is a special chance to explore the world of biomimicry, and we will visit 5 epic science museums during our Curiosity Camp.  Your child will want to join in all of the fun offered by GreenPlay’s Earth Adventurers program this summer.

Watershed Warriors is our program for children entering Kindergarten through Grade 2.  Convenient drop-off points serve as our basecamps in Mill Valley, Muir Beach, Muir Woods, Tiburon, Larkspur and San Rafael.  Half day and full day sessions are available.  Through games, artistic activities and free exploration we uncover the secrets hidden in the marshes, the bays, redwood forests, beaches, and farms of Southern Marin.  Your child will return home full or stories and with dirty knees!

A portion of time at GreenPlay camp involves our experienced guides giving each child an opportunity to make a difference in his or her community by working on restoration projects that connect them with the place they live through service learning. We are a “zero landfill” camp and use recycled materials when possible. We source all of our supplies from responsible vendors.

Campers will receive healthy, organic, locally-sourced snacks throughout the day. Campers are asked to bring a minimum of 20 ounces of water each day and a waste-free lunch.
