Six-Year-Old Mill Valley Girl Loses Fight with Brain Cancer
Memorial service for former Park School kindergarten student Tess Kneafsey is set for Thursday afternoon at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Mill Valley.
Tess Kneafsey of Mill Valley passed away on August 15 after a very brave fight against brain cancer. Tess was born September 18, 2006 and was a lifelong resident of Mill Valley. She was 6 years old.
Tess was a recent graduate from kindergarten at Park School. She loved to swim, run, play with her many friends, stay up late, sleep in, the color pink, eating marshmallows, listening to music and chasing boys. Her spunky, sassy, fun loving spirit will be missed by all that knew her.
Tess is survived by her parents Maura and Brian Kneafsey of Mill Valley, her big sister Kara, her big brother Emmet and her little brother James; paternal grandparents Michele and Tom Kneafsey of Los Angeles; maternal grandparents Annie and Richard Jones of Los Angeles; 14 Aunts and Uncles and 12 cousins.
There will be a memorial service August 22, 2013 at 2pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Mill Valley.
