MILL VALLEY, CA - The Mill Valley Chamber Music Society presents a full season of chamber music concerts for its 2012-2013 season.

The non-profit, all volunteer organization launches its new season with the renowned Trio Solisti performing Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012. The Trio Solisti musical program will feature Beethoven, Variations, op.44; Chausson Trio in g, op. 3; and Dvorak, op. 90 "Dumky" Trio.

Hailed by the New Yorker Magazine as "The most exciting piano trio in America" - Trio Solisti, featuring violinist Maria Bachmann, cellist Alexis Pia Gerlach and pianist Jon Klibonoff, is known for its soulful and passionate performances, virtuosity and electric energy.

The versatility of Trio Solisti extends to new music, most notably to the work of Paul Moravec who composed his 2004 Pulitzer Prize-winning work "Tempest Fantasy," for Trio Solisti. Terry Teachout of the Wall Street Journal wrote, "To my mind, Trio Solisti has now succeeded as the outstanding chamber-music ensemble of its kind."

The Mill Valley Chamber Music Society 34th season schedule also features Prazak Quartet on Nov. 4, 2012; pianist Jon Nakamatsu on Jan. 13, 2013; Auryn Quartet on Feb. 24, 2013; Ives Quartet with Cellist Bonnie Hampton on March 10, 2013; and the annual Marin Music Chest Young Artists Concert on May 19, 2013.
